An East Chicago gas station sold a Powerball ticket, which netted the holder $1 million in Saturday’s drawing.
The ticket was purchased at Raceco, located at 4502 Indianapolis Boulevard.
The identity of the person who purchased the ticket hasn’t been revealed. The ticket matched the first five numbers — 11-12-17-39-40 — but not the Powerball number, which was 5.
The winner should sign the back and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at (800) 955-6886 for instructions on how to claim. Prizes of more than $50,000 must be claimed at Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis.
