Valentine’s Day Prom for seniors: The first Valentine’s Day Prom for Seniors begins at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Rittenhouse Senior Living, 6235 Sterling Creek Road. The event is for Rittenhouse residents and seniors from the community. Call 764-2900.

Safe boating course: The Burns Waterway Flotilla of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is presenting a six-lesson course on boating safety at Edison High School. Classes are at 7 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Feb. 15. Material fee is $25. Additional family members can attend for $20 each. Registration is required. Call 996-2765.

Dance classes: The Jazzy Ladies dance classes are held on Tuesdays at Gary Neighborhood Service, 300 W. 21st Ave. Beginner classes are held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and intermediate classes are held from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
