Lewis University

Lewis University College of Nursing and Health Professions student Emylee Carlton, of Homewood, has passed the National Council Licensure Examination, which measures a student’s ability to perform safely and effectively as a newly licensed, entry-level nurse and demonstrates the student’s competence to begin their nursing career.

Illinois College

Aaron Smith, of Richton Park, is a member of the cheerleading squad at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill. Smith is a first-year student at Illinois College and a graduate of Rich South High School in Richton Park.
