Fifty-three people represented the Diocese of Gary at the 39th annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 23. The Rev. Theodore J. Mens, pro-life director for the Diocese of Gary, and members of St. Mary Church in Griffith, including eighth-graders, members of St. Patrick’s Church Youth Group in Chesterton and others from Northwest Indiana marched on the Capitol and met with legislators and staff.
