Lions install officers: New officers of the Valparaiso Lions Club will be installed during the dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, in the Pines Village Retirement Village conference room, 3303 Pines Village Circle. New officers are Jeff Zulich, president; Vicky Roberts, secretary; Jim Cline, treasurer; Lisa Marek, first vice president; Carl Johnson, second vice president, Paul Zulich, third vice president; Jody Zulich, Tail Twister; Donna Cummins, Lion Tamer; board members Beverly Collinsworth, Elisha Porterfield, Jack Kinsey and Richard Ireland. Summer arts and music festival: The event begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, with a reception at Indiana University Northwest, 3400 Broadway, in the Savannah Center. Music on the lawn follows from 4 to 5 p.m. Guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets.
