Farmers’ Market: The Portage Community Farmers’ Market will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays through Sept. 30 at Founders Square Park, 6300 S. Carnival tickets on sale: The Portage Township Trustee’s Office, 3484 Airport Road, is selling discounted carnival wristband tickets for the SummerFest from June 15-17. The wristbands are $15 in advance or $20 at the event. The carnival raises money for the growth and development of Haven Hollow and Field of Dreams Parks in South Haven. Call 762-1623, Ext. 25.
MICHIGAN CITY
Dunebrook golf outing: Dune-brook’s annual golf outing and golf ball drop is Friday, June 8, at the Michigan City Golf Course, 4000 E. Michigan Blvd. The day includes a hole-in-one contest, tournament games and lunch on the course, followed by a prime rib buffet at Galveston Steakhouse. The cost is $150 per golfer.
