Environmental education: A free open house is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education, 100 N. Lake St. The day’s schedule features different outdoor adventures along the Miller Woods hiking trail. Father’s Day feast: A Father’s Day feast is planned from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the Genesis Convention Center, One Genesis Center. Cost is $18 for adults, $10 for children ages 4 to 12 and free for children up to age 3. Reservations are recommended. Classes for kids: Kids College is open to students ages 7 to 13 at Indiana University Northwest, 3400 Broadway. Three-week courses meet Monday through Friday, June 18 to July 3. Subjects include babysitting, journalism, math for ISTEP, and crafts. Each course costs $75. For more information on Kids College classes
