Free patriotic musical: The Lake Hills Baptist Ensemble presents a free musical featuring patriotic tunes and a singalong at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at the Celebrate Schererville Festival at Redar Park, at the corner of Austin Avenue and Gregory Street. Water awareness festival: The Hobart Sanitary/Storm Water District event is being held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Festival Park, 210 E. Old Ridge Road. Judging of the rain barrel painting contest takes place along with corn hole games, face painting and activities for all ages.
HAMMOND
Teen gaming: Teens are invited to play Xbox 360 games at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the Hammond Public Library, Community Room, 564 State St.
