Market City Fair: The fair is scheduled from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, and Thursday, June 28, and from noon to 11 p.m. Friday, June 29, through Sunday, July 1, at 4121 Cleveland St. The event includes carnival rides, live entertainment, food vendors, games, prizes and fireworks. Morningside Historic District Organization Inc. donates and dedicates the historic street sign topper to the city at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at the Kennedy Branch of the Gary Public Library, 3953 Broadway.
