HAMMOND

Panel to focus on quality of life: Michael E. Schrage, president and CEO of Centier Bank, has announced a new initiative in Hammond, the Hammond Community Advisory Panel. The group has seven members and will meet quarterly to discuss projects and initiatives to help improve the standard of living and quality of life for Hammond residents. Ongoing initiatives will include, but will not be limited to, the areas of health and wellness, housing, education and jobs. Panel members are Greg Boyan, formerly executive director of the Hammond INnovation Center; Lourdes Castellanos of Solutionz Unlimited, Rocharda Moore-Morris of Innovative Solutions, Wes Lukoshus of Purdue University Calumet, Sylvia Planer of the Hammond Hispanic Community Committee, Tim Ross of Franciscan Working Well, and Art Russell of Centier Bank.

Customer focus: Allstate exclusive agency owner Shirley Dunn has been designated an Allstate Premier Service Agent for 2012. Fewer than one-third of the company’s agents receive the designation, which recognizes outstanding customer service. Dunn’s agency is at 1512 W. 96th Ave., Suite D.
