Corn roast: The ninth annual Community Corn Roast is planned from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at the Community Hospital Outpatient Centre, U.S. 41 and 97th Lane. Tickets, $6 in advance, are available at all St. John Financial institutions or by calling the Chamber office at 365-4886. Tickets are $8 the day of the event.
