Male mentor program: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana and the Ten Steps Rites of Passage Male Mentor Program is being held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Purdue University Calumet, Student Union and Library Building, room 327, 22000 169th St. The comprehensive program is a six-year process designed to transition boys into successful men. It supports African-American males ages 12 to 18 and possibly beyond. For more information, call 980-6600.
