Women’s conference: Lakeshore Public Television’s Lakeshore Professional Women’s Conference is planned Friday, Sept. 14, at the Radisson Hotel in Merrillville. It is an all-day event featuring professional development and networking opportunities for women in all levels of the business world. The keynote speaker is scheduled to be six-time Emmy Award winner Shawne Duperon. Breakout session topics include “How to Thrive in the New Normal,” “Think Your Way to Prosperity,” “Inventing a Future that Feels Good,” and “10 Ways Highly Successful Women Lead.” A catered lunch and networking reception also are included.
