Ancestry programs offered: Two separate genealogy sessions are being offered from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the DeMotte branch of the Jasper County Public Library, 901 Birch St. SW. The first session is for beginners, the second is an advanced program. Participants learn how to use the website Ancestry.com. Registration is required by calling 987-2221.

Multi-cultural concert: In honor of Hispanic-American Heritage Month, Indiana University Northwest Office of Diversity Programming presents a special multi-cultural concert at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, in the Bruce W. CROWN POINT

Born to build Lego Club: A Lego class is offered to children ages 7 to 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at the Crown Point Civic Center, 101 S. East St. Cost is $10 for residents and $15 for nonresidents. All supplies are included. Registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 21.
