Pet blessing and animal care expo: The Friends of Paw and Claws, in conjunction with the First Unitarian Church of Hobart, present the fourth annual Pet Blessing and Animal Care Expo planned from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. Dream Big Walk: The Dawn Brancheau Foundation holds the second annual Dream Big Walk Sunday, Sept. 23, at the Lake County Fairgrounds, 889 S. Court St. Cost is $25 for adults and $10 for youth up to age 14, including an event T-shirt. Onsite registration is at 8:30 a.m., followed by the walk at 10.
