Haunted gym: The Jane Ball PTO is hosting its fourth annual haunted gym for charity from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, and Saturday, Oct. 20, at Jane Ball Elementary School, 13313 Parrish St. Admission is $3, and the public is invited.

Succeeding against All Odds: The fourth annual Working Women Building Wealth Conference will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at the Genesis Convention Center, 1 Genesis Plaza.
