Women Lawyers Association honors mentor

The Women Lawyers Association recently hosted a celebration for their mentor Chief Judge Margret G. Robb, the first woman chief judge of the Indiana Appellate Courts. Robb (left) was presented a plaque of apprecation by WLA president Melissa Cohen. “For 15 years she mentored our women lawyers in Northwest Indiana. Now she is the face of the court. To those of us who follow behind her, that is important,” Cohen, of Cohen and Sawochka in Merrillville, said. Almost 100 women lawyers, judges and dignitaries from several counties attended the event.
