Job fair: A free job fair is being held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Westfield Southlake mall, Hobart. More than 50 retailers are interviewing for hundreds of positions, including full and part time, seasonal and permanent. Bring a current résumé and dress appropriately for interviews. CHESTERTON
Sandhill crane trip: A field trip to view the annual sandhill crane migration at Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife Area is being held Saturday, Nov. 10. Participants should meet at 2 p.m. at the Indiana Dunes State Park Nature Center, 1600 County Road N. 25E, to be bused to the wildlife area. The trip ends at the Nature Center around 6 p.m. Cost is $20 for adults, $5 for children up to age 18 and free for children up to age 3. Registration is required. For more information, call 926-1390.
