Jobs at the mall: A jobs fair is planned from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Westfield Southlake mall. More than 50 retailers are interviewing for full- and part-time, seasonal and permanent positions. Applicants should bring a résumé and dress for interviews. The mall is on U.S. 30 at Mississippi Street.
Economic briefing: The Purdue University North Central College of Business and Leadership and the Center for Economic Development and Research will host an economic briefing breakfast with the Michigan City and LaPorte chambers of commerce from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the Library-Student-Faculty Building, Room 144.
