Hosta Society meeting: The Northwest Indiana Hosta Society is having a meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 at Brookstone Estate Condominium, 7507 Taft St. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Spaghetti fundraiser: St. Mary Catholic Community School celebrates it 51st annual spaghetti supper and lunch Wednesday, Nov. 14. Cost is $8 for adults 15 and older and $5 for children ages 5 to 14 and seniors 60 and older. Dine-in or carry out lunch hours are from 11:30 to 2 p.m. and dinner is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The school is located at 405 E. Joliet St. Call 663-0676 to order. For lunch delivery service call to request a faxed form to your office. Diners can visit the Country Store for crafts, gifts and St. Mary’s items. Spaghetti Super Raffle tickets will be available at the school.
