Duneland Aglow Lighthouse: — The organization meets from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Westchester Public Library Service Center, 100 W. Indiana Ave. Speaker is pastor Ken Miller of the Portage Christian Fellowship Church. Light refreshments served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7. Advancing Christ’s Kingdom Ministries: 1001 W. Ridge Road — The Christmas Extravaganza and gift giveaway is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, with a karaoke contest, games, face painting, popcorn and hotdogs. Augustana Lutheran Church: 207 N. Kelly St. — The church’s 150th anniversary celebration is at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15. The Sunday school classes, bell choir and adult choir present a “Sankta Lucia” service of light that salutes Swedish traditions. “Lucia” buns and other Scandinavian treats and refreshments served afterward.
