Duneland Aglow Lighthouse: — The organization meets from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Westchester Public Library Service Center, 100 W. Advancing Christ’s Kingdom Ministries: 1001 W. Ridge Road — The Christmas Extravaganza and gift giveaway is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, with a karaoke contest, games, face painting, popcorn and hotdogs. The Sunday school classes, bell choir and adult choir present a “Sankta Lucia” service of light that salutes Swedish traditions. “Lucia” buns and other Scandinavian treats and refreshments served afterward. Each service features a special choir, a mix of traditional Christmas songs with contemporary worship music, and preaching by Bethel senior pastor Steve DeWitt.
