Gun buyback: The city’s next gun buyback is being held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29. Drop locations are as follows: Grace Unity Church of God in Christ, 3435 W. 21st. Ave.; Beyond 4 Walls Christian Center, 875 S. Lake St.; New Beginnings Fellowship Church, 4500 Harrison St.; Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 1301 W. 21st Ave.; and Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 1831 Virginia St. Wal-Mart gift cards are being issued to those who turn in handguns, shotguns and rifles ($50); and assault weapons ($100).
