Talk to a lawyer: The Indiana State Bar Association, the NWI Volunteer Lawyers Inc., the Pro Bono Committee of the First Judicial District and local bar associations are cosponsoring a free walk-in site from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the Michigan City Library, 100 E. 4th St. This program is open to anyone who needs legal help but can’t afford an attorney. Volunteer attorneys provide referral information. The 11th annual project honors the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream of access to justice for all.
