Trivia night: The fifth annual fundraiser trivia night is planned Saturday, Jan. 26, at Temple Israel, 601 N. Montgomery St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the game will begin at 6:30. The cost is $20 for individuals, $120 for a table of eight or $150 for a table of 10. Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated tables. Make checks payable to Temple Israel, 601 N. Crepe breakfast: The First Unitarian Church of Hobart is having a crepe breakfast fundraiser for the upcoming “Freedom to Marry” event at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20. The cost is $5 for three crepes, with a family maximum of $20. The church is at 497 Main St. Call 942-1611 for more information.

Children’s chorus: The LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra will have spring rehearsal for second- through fifth-graders from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Agape Christian Church, 1601 St. New students will be accepted throughout January.
