Trinity Lutheran School’s goal is to raise $50,000 by September to pack 200,000 meals for Kids Against Hunger. Last year, due to the significant generosity of region Lutherans, our churches, businesses, four area Thrivent chapters, and Valparaiso University, they were able to pack 135,108 meals in one day, with the help of 390 volunteers.
Ninety percent of that food was distributed in Northwest Indiana; 10 percent went to Haiti.
