It’s time to clean out those closets, drawers and garages and have a garage sale! The City of Hobart’s Neighborhood Garage Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

Participating Hobart residents register to have their garage sales all on the same day. Visitors can pick up a listing of participating addresses and main items that will be sold at each garage sale on their way into town.

Last year there were more than 80 individual garage sales in the city and many, many visitors roaming through the trash or treasures!

Applications to register a garage sale are available on the city website, www.cityofhobart.org, or in the Special Events office in Hobart City Hall. The registration fee is $10, which includes garage sale listing, main items listing and one yard sign. Additional yard signs will be available for purchase.

For more information, call the Hobart Special Events Office at 942-4511.
