Miller cleanup: Members of Miller Citizens Corp., the Miller Business Association and the Miller Garden Club will meet for the annual Miller clean up at 7 a.m. Saturday, May 11, across from the Miller Town Hall, on Miller Avenue and Montgomery Street. Volunteers are needed to clean up trash and plant flowers in public places.
Aunt Kitty’s trash and treasure yard sale: The Independent Cat Society annual event, is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at the ICS Shelter grounds on U.S. 6 and County Line Road. Along with the yard sale bargains, there will be cat items, birdhouses, T-shirts, home-baked goods and more. The 3 Old Cat Ladies Café will also have lunch items for sale. Donations are needed for the yard sale. Bring items to the ICS shelter from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, May 17. No personal clothing or large furniture please. Call 785-4936 for more information.
