Employment workshop: U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly’s office will host a Job Seeker Workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, in the north building at Ivy Tech Community College, 1440 E. 35th Ave. The workshop is designed to help attendees improve job search and interview skills and resume writing. The events will include discussions lead by community leaders and industry professionals on growing job opportunities in industries such as manufacturing and technology. Also, resources will be available to assist veterans with their entry or re-entry into the workforce.
