Looking for crafters: The Griffith Boy Scout Troop 274 is seeking crafters for its 34th annual fall harvest craft festival. The festival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. Red Hat Society tea: The “Red Roses” chapter 71977 of the International Red Hat Society is hosting a tea from 3 to p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Calumet Township Multi-Purpose Center, 1900 W. 41st Ave. Cost is $6 per person, adults only. News at Noon: Westchester Public Library’s monthly News at Noon program is open to any adult who is interested in what is happening in the world today and would love to discuss current events, local, national or international.
