Burger Bash: The Rittenhouse Senior Living is hosting a Burger Bash, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 at 1300 Vale Park Rd. Cost is $5. All proceeds are being donated to Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana. Take out is available, call 531-2484. Support the group by wearing purple.

“Touch of Elegance luncheon: St. Mary Medical Center Auxiliary is hosting its 14th annual “Touch of Elegance” luncheon Saturday, Sept. 14, at Avalon Manor, 3550 E. U.S. Highway 30. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the lunch begins at noon. Cost is $25.
