Paramedic training: The Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Emergency Medical Services Academy will accept applications until 4 p.m. Oct. 7 for its next emergency medical technician-paramedic training program, which will begin in January. Applications for the 11-month course are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the academy on the second floor of the hospital’s Medical Arts Center, 1201 S. Main St., Suite 201, or through the academy website, www.franciscanalliance.org/hospitals/crownpoint/health-professionals/ems-academy/Pages/default.aspx. Applicants must be Indiana emergency medical technicians and pass course entrance exams to be accepted into the program. Call 757-6334.
Real estate training: The Purdue University North Central Office of Graduate and Extended Learning is offering a non-credit Real Estate Pre-Licensing Program. The course is intended to prepare students to take the Indiana Real Estate Licensing Examination and become licensed real estate salespeople. Classes will meet on Mondays and Thursdays, Sept. 23 through Nov. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. Registration deadline is 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12.
