Healthcare reform: “The Affordable Care Act: What does it mean to your business?” will be the topic of a panel discussion at the Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce’s business expo and luncheon Sept. 26 at Dynasty Banquets, 4125 Calumet Ave. Lunch will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the business expo immediately following until 6 p.m. Booths and sponsorships are available for the expo. Car seat check: Certified child passenger safety technicians are offering a free clinic Sept. 21 at NorthShore Health Centers, 2490 Central Ave., to help parents determine if child car seats and booster seats are properly installed in their vehicles. The service will be offered from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The evaluation takes approximately 30 minutes.
