NW INDIANA
Grant funds report: The Northwest Indiana Quality of Life Council has received a special grant from the John S. And James L. Knight Foundation at Legacy Foundation in the amount of $55,000 to support the production and distribution of the fourth edition report of the quality of life indicators in Northwest Indiana. The report will be used as a platform to engage residents and leadership in public discourse.

Book signing: Author Pati Chandler of Mishawaka will sign copies of her book “Fibromyalgia Basics: A Beginner’s Guide” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Au Naturel Market, 1708 Lincolnway.

Chamber banquet: The Lake Station Chamber of Commerce will host its 57th anniversary awards dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 in the second floor banquet facility at City Hall, 1969 Central Ave. The cost is $15 per person.
