Valentines and candy: The Candy Café and members of the Northwest Indiana Artist Support Group “Bad Date” art show are sponsoring “Valentines and Candy for the Elderly” from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the café, 1066 Joliet St. One dollar purchases a Valentine designed by a local artist and a bag of candy (supplied by the café) for residents of the Dyer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The “Bad Date” exhibit runs Feb. 3 to March 2 at Pier 74 Bar & Grill, 13125 Lake Shore Drive, Cedar Lake. For more information, call 322-7678.
