Lisa DeNeal

Gary native Lisa DeNeal is in her 16th year as a correspondent/columnist for
the Post-Tribune. She is also the co-author of “Unflappable,” the 2008
memoir of Gary native Carolyn E. Mosby. DeNeal is the recipient of local
awards including Sister Speak’s 2009 Outstanding Service Award for
Excellence in HIV/AIDS Media Awareness and the 2002 Emerging Leadership
Award from the Neal-Marshall Alumni Club of Northwest Indiana. DeNeal is a
1986 alumna of Roosevelt High School and 1991 alumna of Calumet College of
St. Joseph.
