Alleged batterer accused victim

As he was arrested for felony domestic battery, Jeffrey Orlando, 54, accused the 26-year-old alleged victim of striking herself in the face and coaching her young son what to say to police.

Orlando and the woman got into an argument at about 11:50 a.m. Thursday at their home, in the 5600 North block of Meridian Road. Both told police Orlando slammed the front door on the woman’s head; the woman said it was deliberate, but Orlando said it was accidental and the woman stuck her head out the door to yell it him as he was closing it.
