GMC Yukon stolen from sales lot
A 1997 GMC Yukon worth $6,500 was reported stolen overnight Wednesday from Burtons Auto Sales, at 2872 Dunes Highway. The business owner told police the lock was cut off the sales lot’s gate. There are no suspects, but the owner said two men had test driven the black and silver Yukon on Tuesday and said they would be back later to get it.

Acquaintance
suspected in theft
A 36-inch plasma television was stolen before 11 p.m. Thursday from a home in the 600 block of Hollywood Drive, in Porter Township. A window in the front door was broken to access the home. Police have information on a 21-year-old possible suspect, an acquaintance of the home’s residents.

Man reported
theft of figurines
A 76-year-old man reported two glass figurines were stolen around Tuesday from a case near the front door of his home, in the 600 block of Savoy Place. He told police the collectibles are worth approximately $2,450.
