More than 40 eateries at Taste of Valparaiso

VALPARAISO — Valparaiso’s Tri Kappa will sponsor the annual Taste of Valparaiso from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Porter County Expo Center.
This event features more than 40 area restaurants offering samples of their signature dishes. Silent auction items, entertainment by local musicians, 50/50 raffle and flower sales will be included in the evening’s program.
Proceeds from this event allow Kappa members to award more than $12,000 to students pursuing higher education degrees. In addition, funds are allocated to needy families and numerous not-for-profit agencies in our community.
Wearing the chapter’s black and white colors, Tri Kappa members host the event to show their dedication to service and fundraising in the community.
Tickets are $30 in advance and available at Town and Country Market, Strongbow and Tudor Floors Carpet One in Valparaiso, as well as from any Tri Kappa member. Tickets are available online at trikappavalpo.gogglepages.com.
Tickets will also be available at the door for $35.
