PORTER COUNTY
Neighbor is suspect in home burglary
Some of the items stolen from a mobile home were found in plain view outside a neighbor’s residence, police said.
A large amount of property — including the stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, a television and multiple bottle of prescription medication — was taken in the burglary between Sunday and Tuesday in the 3500 block of Evans Avenue.
The victims found two of their stolen decorative items — a floral lamp and an angel figurine — on top of a refrigerator outside a neighboring mobile home, said police, who are investigating.
Man stopped for bright headlights
