Woman called police on ex-girlfriend
Valarie Galindo, 38, of Valparaiso, called police at about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday to demand that ex-girlfriend Christina Hill, 32, be arrested for having drugs at their apartment, in the 400 block of Locust Street. Hill was sleeping as Galindo presented her “evidence” to police, who determined both women illegally were in possession of an assortment of substances: prescription anti-psychotic, anti-anxiety, antidepressant and allergy medications without a prescription; and also suspected marijuana.
Galindo was arrested on two felonies, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of a legend drug; and two misdemeanors, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Hill, who claimed Galindo set her up, also was arrested on two felonies, possession of marijuana with a prior conviction and possession of a controlled substance; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting law enforcement.
