Six years for aiding in a burglary
Supplying the code to a garage door opener so someone could burglarize a home meant a sentence of six years in prison for a Valparaiso man.
James Timothy Mullins, 48, will also serve two years on probation after that as part of the sentencing he received Thursday in Porter County Superior Court for his plea to Class C felony aiding in a burglary.
The burglary happened between April 20 and 22 with Mullins giving Stacy L. Biggs, 32, of Valparaiso the code so she could allegedly rob the home while he waited to pick her up.
Police caught him through a necklace he pawned.
Biggs is still going through the legal system for a Class B felony burglary charge.
