Burglar breaks glass to unlock door
A burglar broke the glass out of a house’s side door to reach its lock, then left with three dresser drawers and two pillowcases filled with an assortment of jewelry, according to the police report. The break-in happened between 5:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of East County Road 1400N, in Pine Township.

Man arrested for shoplifting cameras
Nolan Neace, 24, of North Judson, was arrested for felony theft about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday when caught allegedly shoplifting at Wal-Mart, at 2400 Morthland Drive. Police said Neace stole two digital cameras, an iPad accessory and incense, worth $196.88.
