VALPARAISO - A Hebron man and a Munster man have been charged with multiple counts for allegedly being at a party that involved alcohol, marijuana, methamphetamine and minors.
Mark A. Denton, 23, of Hebron is charged with Class D felony possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor and misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance.
Court documents list a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old as the delinquent minors and also state that although police found less than 30 grams of marijuana at the home, it’s a felony because of Denton’s September 2009 marijuana conviction.
Jaymes L. Doyle, 24, of Munster is charged with Class D felony possession of methamphetamine and five misdemeanors: contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, furnishing alcohol to a minor and visiting a common nuisance. His charges list seven other people less than 21 years of age.
Both men face up to three years in prison on the Class D felonies.
