VALPARAISO -- A Schererville man pleaded guilty to burglarizing a Portage house after he and a girlfriend went there to get money she said the owner owed her for cleaning.
Shawn Craft, 35, faces eight years in prison without probation if Porter County Superior Judge William Alexa accepts his Friday plea to Class C burglary.
Craft took a camera, computer, gold coins, various electronics, and baseball and football cards in February 2010, and an anonymous caller told the homeowner who did it and how to reach his girlfriend.
The eight-year sentence would run concurrent with a sentence Craft is serving in Lake County.
