The inaugural WinterFest event, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Field of Dreams Park in South Haven, has been cancelled due to the unseasonably warm weather.
No plans are in place to reschedule the festival. However, as soon as the ice rink is ready, skating will be available to park visitors.
Those interested in ice skating can call Portage Township Parks Department at 762-1623 or check www.facebook.com/portagetownship to find out when the ice rink is ready.
