Kouts to hold caucus to replace Town Council member

KOUTS — Due to the resignation of Orville Jefferson, an at-large Town Council member in Kouts, a caucus of eligible Democratic precinct committeemen has been called to select his successor.
The caucus will be held at 6 p.m. March 20 at the Kouts Town Hall, 210 S. Main St.
Those interested in filing for the position must live in the town of Kouts and be a Democrat in good standing with the party. Additionally, a CEB-5 declaration of candidacy form must be completed 72 hours before the caucus.
