INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Republicans can meet with state and local leaders such as Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann to help draft the region’s party platform beginning March 27 in Merrillville.
The Indiana Republican Party says in a statement that all Republicans are invited to join elected state and local officials in a series of public hearings to craft a stance on the most pressing political issues.
Ellspermann is chairing five statewide meetings with Indianapolis City-County Council Minority Leader Mike McQuillen.
The first meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. March 27 at Indiana Wesleyan University in Merrillville. Four more meetings are set through April 22 in Fort Wayne, Jeffersonville, Indianapolis and Evansville.
