I say the lady in Fort Wayne who made her son wear a sign on the street about selling drugs and breaking laws needs to run for governor of Indiana. At least attorney general. We could use her as a commissioner in Porter County.
I really think that our new mayor in Gary is doing a beautiful job. I commend her for it, and I certainly hope she will clean up General Services and make sure they come down this alley at Sixth and Vermont and clean it up. I’ve been trying to get them to do this for the last four or five years. It’s a dumpsite now and everybody is dumping garbage there.
Hey, this is only my opinion, but I think the Porter County Highway Department did pretty dog-gone good on the roads after last week’s snowstorm. Out here in the County Road 750W area, we had a fair amount of snow this storm, 6 to 8 inches with drifts in places. They did a really great job getting those roads clear.
