Thank you, Carrol Vertrees, for the most beautiful Sunday column Keep writing. And, Post-Tribune, keep publishing him.
There was $13,000 in escrow for my son to go to school. If my son is not going to school, I’d like to know where my $13,000 is. The clerk hollered, “Where is the evidence?” The evidence is, I don’t have my doggone money. Who has it?
I think the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. would rather have the kids in school, getting an education, than taking off a day in his honor.
Madonna’s talent has absolutely nothing to do with her age. Now go take a laxative and be quiet.
The presidency is not a prize; it is a privilege and honor to be chosen to fight for our people. The Republican candidates are putting on quite a show. I think we should elect anybody but one of them.
It’s only January, and I am already sick of the political ads. November is a long way off, and it is only going to get much worse. Who are they convincing by repeating the same old stuff 50 times a day?
Why aren’t police departments raiding retail establishments that are selling fake pot and bath salts? If they are illegal and people are going insane while using them, you would think something should be done.
How about videotaped beheadings, dragging bodies in the streets or impaling soldiers and putting them on display in the town square? Is that more or less “despicable”? U.S. soldiers are sick of playing the same game with two sets of rules.
