Ignorance is what allows the politicians and corporations to continue raping the middle class. Even nonunion wages are based on union wages. What Gov. Mitch Daniels wants to give us is 20,000 $7-per-hour jobs.

I am not in a union. However, I do enjoy my weekends off, 40-hour work weeks, paid vacations and health benefits. I think most of the “union haters” take these things for granted and forget these benefits were fought for by unions.

I find it ignorant to compare the conduct of our soldiers to those of the Taliban. We are the United States of America, not a Third World country. It is despicable to urinate on anyone, even our enemies.

When I wrote in about the lame prizes in Cracker Jack, I never thought I would see responses to my Quickly. It’s so nice to know people remember a better time with simpler, nicer people in general. Thanks, Quickly, for bringing us together.

Quickly, your column is getting so stupid and boring with all these asinine comments about Cracker Jack prizes. Oh, my goodness, you could help people so much more.

These Indiana Democrats and the Italian cruise ship captain come from the same mold. Their motto must be: “When the going gets tough, call a cab and go home.”

If you want to know what’s wrong with Roosevelt High School, just read the P-T article “Few attend latest Roosevelt meeting with turnaround company.” If the parents don’t care about education, why should the children?
